Black Hat

This black hat is a chaotic mess of fabric loosely sewn together to form a turban-like headpiece.

This is one of those hats I struggle to categorise, found unloved in a sales box at a kit fair.

I think maybe ladies hat.

The hat also feels like something somebody might wear to a funeral.

Shell Covered Hat

 A shell-covered pill box-shaped hat.

The hat is heading towards Fez shape but doesn't quite make it.

The main decoration of this hat is the sea shells, some form of sea snail shells I think.

Applied in geometric patterns they give this hat a unique look.

Also come complete with a tassel.

I believe it's a one-off, but could be wrong.

Kabuto

Kabuto or Samurai Helmet

This is Kabuto is a theatrical mock-up made of lightweight plastic-like materials.

kabuto was made by combining dozens of thin iron plates around a central dome, usually iron but sometimes moulded and lacquered paper

Like medieval helmets they were often decorated with a crest, this one is themed around a rabbit.

Kabuto 1st appeared in the 10th Century

Shark Hat

A novelty hat where the shark appears to bite your head

This hat is pretty poor, I think the concept is good, but the execution is poor.

The main problem is the hat has no stiffness so the shark's body falls flat, I managed to balance and fluff it a bit so it stood up for these photos, but if I moved my head too quickly it just callapsed again

The rest is just that horrible foam-covered fabric that they make lots of novelty hats from, a case you get what you pay for and you probably don't pay much five pounds would be expensive.
