Hippy Wizards Hat

This Wizards or Witches hat is definitely one for the festival market.

Handmade from hemp and cotton and with a rainbow pattern around the brim and base of the crown

The hat has a wired brim to hold its shape.

Definitely a comfortable hat to wear, you could easily wear all day or just fold it up and stuff in a bag.

Also a good summer hat, the loose-knit provides plenty of ventilation.

Apparently handmade in Napal.

Story Tellers Hat

This hat is called a Kyrgyz and also known as the Ak Kalpak or White Kalpak, worn by people in central Asia

This is the national hat of Kyrgyzstan, Russian

Its also known by some as the storyteller's hat, it is mainly a hat worn by the nomadic men at festivals although for some in the region its everyday attire. This style hat is known only in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

Made of 4 padded panels of felt, this tall embroidered hat is supposed to resemble snow-covered mountains,

The 4 panels represent the four elements: air, water, fire, and earth. Where the panels meet represent the sun and life. There is also a tassel on the right part of the crossing which represents posterity and prosperity

One of the best things about this hat is it packs flat, the joints in the panels are butted together with no overlap so they fold easily

A hat to provide warmth in winter.

All around my hat I will wear the Green Willow

This a great fun felt festival hat, I think it would be brilliant for Morris Dancing or perhaps just for standing out from the norm should you want to.

This hat fell into my hands while at Tewkesbury Medieval festival, I walked by the stall selling it several times thinking I don't need this hat but it kept punching me in the eye saying "buy me, buy me", like some hats do, and I have a very low resistance.

When I put this hat on for some reason I want to sing All around my hat I will wear the Green Willow (see here if don't know what I mean) and dance around my living room.
