Green Felt Hat

This green felt hat has seen better days, crushed at the bottom of the pile, it needs steaming over a dome to reshape it.

Listed as a Richard the 3rd style hat.

Made of green felt.

Red & Black Leather Hood

This hood was donated to an evergrowing bag of hoods

Red and Black ideal for the evil jester in you

Typical of many hoods made for the fantasy market, it includes lots of decorative buckles and metal studs.

Glengarry hat

I found this bargain Scottish Glengary Hat on Etsy

Made of wool and excellent quality, it features a small pompom in the dip of the crown and black ribbon ready to receive a badge, plume or broach.

The Glengarry hat became the standard hat of Scottish regiments in the British Army around 1860.

Apparently, in the military, the hat should be worn steeply angled, something I did not do in these photos. When I look at other photos however most people seem to wear it straight like me.

A must for anyone who plays Bagpipers I think.

Doppa

The Doppa is a cap that normally has a square base

The hat is worn by the Uzbeks of Afghanistan and Uyghurs which are part China.

The hat is derived from a hat worn in Khwarazmians empire which was a more pointed cap, which can be seen in some of the portraits of the last ruler of the empire Jalaleddin Mingburnu.

The hats are quite firm and shaped around a mould

Doppa in the language of the Uzbeks means Cap
