Commander Hunter of Death Angel Squad

This is a leather covered steampunk or hell angel novelty helmet

I bought it off ebay its well made, good buckles and lining, comfortable but doubt it would actually be suitable head protection for a biker, but that's not what helm is about anyway.

This helm apparently gets a thumb up.

Howdy Folks

Howdy folks.

This hat is prime example of what I call a cowboy hat, i.e. hats worn by farmers and ranch workers in the west and south of the USA.

The style of a cowboy hat is a tall crown usually creased to flatten with wide rolling brim usually  turned up at the sides, then decorated with a band around the bottom of the crown. They are normally made of felt or straw but can like this one be made of leather.

This hat is made of sued leather, stiffened and shaped with wire in brim, its a very comfortable hat that I need to wear more often.

This hat was made by company called Bullhide and the moto in the label "enjoy the western lifestyle" I purchased this hat at Chatworth Country Fair a few year ago.

Gotta mosey along now.

Keeps My Head Warm

This fur hat I originally thought of as a Cossack hat, but its not really they are a ring of fur around the head and have a flat fur top, this is more a Mongolian Shepherd hat with it little horse hair tassel from the where the 4 pieces of leather join at a point.

This hats been used for several different characters

The very thin almost invisible tassel of horse hair can be seen coming from a bead at the top

This hat was going cheap at a Medieval fair, it had gone mouldy and was in a bad way, I washed it with diluted bleach to kill the mould, then scrubbed it to remove the staining. The hat survived the harsh treatment and has remained in good condition since.

Oops I bought a new hat

So I was walking around a charity shop looking for a old leather coat to cut up when I spotted a hat, so over the last 2 weekends of not looking for a hat we have leather coats found 0, hats found 2.

This cap is suede with a artificial fur lining. I would call it a hunting cap
